So I'm pretty much terrible at this. I refuse to give up though!! So far I can say the first 4 verses with my first letter prompts. Now I just need to move past that.

Memorization Monday

We are back on track with blogging!! This past week I've spent time working on memorizing. Every morning at 8 AM this reminder pops up on my phone.

My neighbors before we moved taught me that tip. The first letter of each word is there and you try to remember it from that. By this morning the reminder popped up and I said it without looking then checked it. Therefore, on to the next passage!

Philippians 1:3-6
I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

Memorization Monday

Here I plan to record my efforts in memorization. I'd love for anyone to join me in memorizing Philippians if you'd like. If not, I hope this record can encourage you!

Each week I plan on reading Philippians on Monday before working on my passage(s) for the week. So start there. 

Philippians 1:1-2

Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus,

To all the saints in Christ Jesus at Philippi, together with the overseers and deacons:

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

The passage for the week is the first 2 verses. I did attempt these two verses before, and was mostly successful (I have issues memorizing in general). Looking forward to the next weeks to show progress...motivation motivation motivation.
